Magnum Boots campaign ready to go for March 2010!


MAGNUM worldwide currently produces over a million pairs of footwear each year, to a wide variety of end users, from Police Officers walking the beat to the SAS. Rathbone Media have been the advertising agency for Magnum and planning and buying the media for this successful brand for 10 years. During this 10 year period Rathbone Media have seen the brand develop because of the supreme efforts of the Global MAGNUM Development Team who have further evolved the original MAGNUM Classic boot into a comprehensive collection of styles incorporating high, mid and low cut black service boots and brown hiking-style work boots each with their own technical features and end-user benefits. The 2010 Magnum boot Utilises numerous technological enhancements including Sympatex® and Vibram®.

Following on from the Magnum boots recent win of the Company Clothing Awards 2009 for Footwear Innovation. Magnum have continued to adapt their marketing strategy to keep up with the wants and needs of today’s markets. The 2010 advertising campaign is targeted at members of the emergency services and armed forces across both press and digital mediums re-enforcing the brand strengths of Magnum to a marketplace that is already very aware of the product whilst informing them of the newest improvements to this already solid selling boot. The technologies and improvements within the boot have been added because Magnum work closely with the end user. This technique has enabled MAGNUM to specifically design a 'Fit for Purpose' service boot with the appropriate technical specification. This innovate product development was to position MAGNUM footwear at the fore-front of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The campaign creative includes the Hydro management Nano Technology or Ion Mask and also includes the ‘Help the Heroes’ logo whom Hi Tec support.

The press and digital campaign will be going live from March and will last until the end of 2010 - Magnum Boots.

adidas is a market leader for tennis shoes and tennis apparel. In 2009 they completed their tennis product line by adding tennis rackets and tennis balls.

After a complex technological development process adidas can now reveal their new range of adidas rackets as of February 2010. Adidas created them in their own research and development center in Europe. Besides the extraordinary design, the highlight is the new iES and EnerMesh technology. The Barrciade tennis rackets benefit from the IES technology and the others adidas tennis rackets from the EnerMesh technology.

Rathbone Media re-appointed to buy Pan-European campaign

Rathbone media briefed to implement the Pan European campaign for Nikon Sports Optics http://www.nikonsro.com/ for the third year in a row.

The plan will be to promote the whole of Nikons Sports Optics range to the Hunting / Birdwatching / Golfing and Walking Communities in over 15 countries including the UK, Switzerland, Sweden, Germany and France.

Media campaign to start from March 2010 and run for a 12 month period utilising Specialist Consumer Press (International Media Buying) and Online media platforms (International Digital Agency).
